While aerial firefighting crews waited for the seemingly endless winter to finish dumping snow in the midwest, the crews at Dauntless Aviation gave an impressive overview of the company’s operations to wide eyed first graders while the company’s planes were in Appleton organizing a visit from students who attended Appleton-Milan Elementary school.
Students were able to take a first hand look at Dauntless’s operations and see the company’s hangar, aircraft, and the support operations that accompany an aerial firefighting operation into the field like their trucks, water/retardant and equipment trailers.
