After a year of new ownership, under owner Michael Hutchins, Labelle, Florida-based Fletcher Flying Service has rebranded their operation under the new name Coastal Air Strike. “We decided to change our name and logo to better reflect our true Coast-to-Coast operations. We will continue providing the high level of service you are accustomed to while expanding our team of professionals,” said Hutchins. In addition to the fleet of Air Tractor AT802 Single Engine Air Tankers (SEATs), the company has now acquired two amphibious FireBoss aircraft to aid customers in the fight against wildfires. This bringing the fleet of firefighting aircraft to a total of 12 planes nationwide.
“With all the changes, one thing remains true: Our Corporate Mission … We place the safety and well-being of our employees, our customers, and the environment before all other values. By doing so, it is our goal to create an aviation enterprise that is recognized as a model of safety and professionalism within the industry.”
Coastal Air Strike works firefighting contracts around the United States that include exclusive use contracts in the State in New Jersey, and Arkansas in addition to multiple call when needed contracts on both national contracts and state contracts around the country.
