Perimeter Solutions (NYSE: PRM), a leading global manufacturer of high-quality firefighting products and lubricant additives, announced today that it is partnering with Allied Disaster Defense, one of the leading home restoration companies in the country, to professionally treat properties in California with PHOS-CHEK® FORTIFY®, a ground-based long-term fire retardant, to provide season-long protection from wildfires.

“At Allied Disaster Defense we not only serve our high net worth and celebrity customers, but also homes that want to protect themselves from the increasing threat of wildfire. Having the opportunity to offer PHOS-CHEK FORTIFY long-term fire retardant to help protect our customers from wildfires strengthens our service offerings and could be a major part of our business going forward,” says O.P. Almaraz, CEO of Allied Disaster Defense. “When you think of fire safety, PHOS-CHEK is the only trusted name in the business with decades of innovation and experience. It is a technology that is proven to be safe and environmentally responsible, as other companies start to apply ineffective magnesium chloride products. We are proud to partner with Perimeter Solutions to make PHOS-CHEK FORTIFY available to our customers.”

PHOS-CHEK FORTIFY long-term fire retardant is similar to the red PHOS-CHEK that has been dropped from aircraft during active wildfires since 1963 that helps prevent their spread and give firefighters on the ground the time they need to extinguish the wildfire. However, PHOS-CHEK FORTIFY is uncolored, and it is formulated to have extended durability and greater adherence to vegetation and other fuels to provide protection from wildfires even after a significant rain event. This innovation in long-term retardants is relatively new and is starting to be widely adopted by utilities, railroads, insurance companies, homeowners and other high hazard industries who are helping to prevent wildfire ignitions and proactively protecting their property from wildfires.

Through this partnership, Perimeter Solutions will train Allied’s team of service professionals to properly apply PHOS-CHEK FORTIFY, so that they can ensure the homes and properties where it is applied are protected during the upcoming wildfire season. Allied, which has invested extensively in their equipment in order to apply PHOS-CHEK FORTIFY, will represent the PHOS-CHEK brand in California, before expanding across the Western United States, according to Wes Bolsen, Business Director of Wildfire Prevention and Protection at Perimeter Solutions.

“Perimeter Solutions has made the decision to only align itself with organizations who are experienced, responsible and that have integrity in everything they do. Allied has put together a great wildfire protection program. With most of the state of California currently experiencing drought conditions, we are eager to get started with Allied in order to protect property and lives from what will most likely be another highly active wildfire season,” says Bolsen.
