Mike Lynn of Conair Aerial Firefighting was awarded the Walt Darren award at the Tuesday evening gala dinner at the aerial firefighting 2022 event held in San Diego, California this week.
Mike was awarded the Walt Darren award after being selected by a committee of his peers for his outstanding work and contributions made in the aerial firefighting industry. The award was presented by Mr. Darren's son and family who were in attendance for the event after a speech made to detail his contributions given by IWCG President and AerialFire Magazine contributor veteran Dan Reese who is a 20 year CAL FIRE veteran.
