Bridger Aerospace Sends Crews to Battle New Mexico Wildfires

Bridger Aerospace is sending crews to battle a wildfire in New Mexico. The company’s super scooper planes drop over 1,400 gallons of water in under three seconds.

Their services were requested for the Hermit’s Peak and Calf Canyon fires in New Mexico. The fires burned over 145,800 acres.

“Anything we can do to continue to grow and help the nation, help citizens, you know, save lives and preserve our wonderful wilderness is what we’re going to do. Like I said, we’re going to continue to fight, and we’re going to continue to take it to the fire,” Bridger Aerospace maintenance operations manager Stephen Esposito said.

Esposito says this is the earliest Bridger Aerospace has ever gone out. They expect an aggressive and long fire season.
