GPMS Announces Major Expansion of Certified Installer Network

GPMS Announces STC on the Bell 212/412 Helicopter for Its Predictive Health and Usage Monitoring System Foresight MX

Waterbury, VT – July 25, 2022 – GPMS International announced today that it has expanded its Certified Installer network to meet the growing demand for its Foresight MX solution, the helicopter industry’s most advanced Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS).

Todd Powers, GPMS VP of Sales, said that while some customers prefer to install Foresight themselves, others prefer to have the installation done for them by trusted providers. This expansion will allow GPMS to significantly boost scalability and ensure quality installations and support to meet its current deliveries, the growing backlog, and mounting demand.

“We are at an important phase in the growth of our company,” Powers explained. “We recognize that our operators have deep relationships with their existing MRO providers, most of whom I’ve known for years or even decades. While we already had a strong start to the Certified Installer program, we needed additional customization experts to meet and deliver on the demand and deliveries with quality installations and enhanced support.”

Twelve companies have been added to GPMS’s Certified Installer network, which now totals 15. All are Part 145 repair stations with industry-recognized installation and customization experience including Advanced Helicopter Services, Aero Products, AeroBrigham, Air Flite, Arista Aviation, Cascade Helicopter Services, Hangar One Avionics, Inc., Helipark (Brazil), Mansfield Heliflight, Metro Aviation, Rotorcraft Services Group (RSG), and Sterling Helicopter. They join existing Certified Installers East West Helicopters, Precision (Oregon), and Wysong Enterprises.

Wysong Enterprises was one of the original certified installers and the team there is well aware of the benefits that an advanced HUMS like Foresight delivers to operators. Paul Schreuder, Wysong’s Director of Operations says, “Our team at Wysong has gladly been a part of many Foresight installations. We can tell you that this technology from GPMS is the future of HUMS and comprehensive condition-based monitoring for our industry. It provides an unprecedented level of insight in a compact, lightweight design and our customers have been very happy with the solution.”

Mike Hannahs, Business Development Manager at Aero Products, one of the new installers, said the lure for companies like Aero Products to become part of the network goes beyond being simply a business transaction. They also recognize the benefits that advanced HUMS can have for customers in safety and saving money.

“HUMS is a great add-on that will allow our customers to minimize the cost of unscheduled maintenance, and at the same time add another degree of safety to their operations,” he said. Aero Products is both a Bell Certified Service Facility and Airbus Approved Maintenance Facility, and Hannahs said he and his team were introduced to GPMS and Foresight during Heli-Expo 2022 in March in Dallas, TX. In the short time between then and now, Hannahs explained that he has learned enough to know that Foresight is the future. “It's a quality product with quality people that I know, and we are looking forward to a great partnership,” he said.

Many of the new Certified Installers will be joining the Airborne Public Safety Association conference (APSCON) in Reno, NV, July 25 – 27. If you would like to meet with GPMS to learn more about the Certified Installer Network or the operational and safety benefits of Foresight MX, stop by booth 733 at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.
