Bridger Showcases FireTrac at CES in Las Vegas

Bridger Aerospace Group is showcasing its new wildfire monitoring app, FireTrac, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week from January 5-8, 2023.

FireTrac is designed for individuals and communities living in areas prone to wildfires, providing them with up-to-date information on fire activity and enabling them to stay safe. The app uses Bridger aircraft to map fires and create an aerial image of the fire’s progression, using both RGB and Infrared imagery. It also aggregates data from verified sources, such as the US Forest Service and IRWIN (Integrated Reporting of Wildland Fire Information), to provide a comprehensive overview of the fire’s growth and containment.

In addition to being available for integration into weather, environmental hazard, asset management, and municipal infrastructure systems, FireTrac can also be integrated with IoT devices and smart devices in homes or structures in Wildland Urban Interface areas. This allows users to receive notifications of fire danger and access up-to-date information on the fire’s activity.

Bridger Aerospace’s CEO, Tim Sheehy, stated that the company hopes FireTrac will help communities living in wildfire-prone areas better protect themselves and their families by providing as much data as possible in a simple smartphone app. FireTrac will be exhibiting at the Las Vegas Convention Center’s North Hall in the Smart Cities section at Booth 9375.
