Argentinian Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development  Sergio Federowicz signed a letter of intent with representatives of the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) in Ottawa, Canada this week that will see the nation acquire three CH-47 helicopters in Argentina in a deal that will commence before the end of 2023, with an expected delivery of assets in July of 2024.

“Thanks to the independent financing of the organization, following the contribution made by the National Congress through the rate of insurance policies, a series of such investments could be programmed, including the purchase of three latest generation Bell helicopters,  it demonstrates the success of the collaboration between Argentina and Canada,” said Federowski.

Argentinian cooperation with the Canadian CCC began in late 2022, hiring Coulson Aviation CH-47’s initially that were operated in Patagonia and the Delta, avoiding massive firestorms in the area.
