Dallas, TEXAS — July 11 Dallas Avionics announced this week that as part of their 50th year in business, they will support the 28th annual Teledyne FLIR Vision Awards held in Orlando, Florida, at the Airborne Public Safety Association (APSA) annual APSCON conference.

“We are always committed to advancing safety initiatives that keep people safe and help to save lives," said Manager of Helicopter Programs for Dallas Avionics, Kenny Hall. "We are delighted to contribute to the Teledyne FLIR Vision Awards. This event recognizes the best law enforcement agencies in the nation. These men and women risk their lives every day for us. Taking to recognize them is a privilege. We look forward to seeing everyone, celebrating the award winners, and appreciate the opportunity to support the Vision Awards.”

The Teledyne FLIR Vision Awards will occur at 6 p.m., Thursday, July 20th, at the Rosen Centre Hotel Grand Ballroom. Dallas Avionics team will be at booth 301 during APSCON.

The tactical use of airborne thermal imaging can be one of the most powerful tools available to law enforcement. Now in its 28th year, the Teledyne FLIR Vision Awards strives to recognize state and local law enforcement agencies for their contributions to public safety through the use of tactical, airborne thermal imagery. The Vision Awards showcase the premier use of EO/IR surveillance among the airborne law enforcement community, and Teledyne FLIR is proud to help recognize these efforts which save lives and protect our communities.

“This is our 50th year in business, and we want to thank all our customers for helping us achieve this milestone. Be sure to stop by and see us at the booth and join us for the award ceremony."
