15 February, 2024 – GPMS International announced today that Helicopter Express has completed their first installation of Foresight MX, the industry’s leading HUMS solution, on their new Bell 429. Additionally, Helicopter Express has placed a follow-on order of Foresight MX for their new Bell 412EPX.
Based in Tate, Georgia, Helicopter Express operates a mixed fleet of utility and firefighting aircraft throughout the world. “We’ve been following GPMS and their progress with Foresight MX since they started and we’re excited to start using it,” said Richie Kittrell, Chief Operating Officer at Helicopter Express. “We’ve heard very positive comments from other GPMS operators. With their advanced technology, customer support, and the ability to grow with their customers, we know GPMS is the best HUMS provider to meet our needs.”
Helicopter Express first took to the air in 1995 when they secured their first government contract with the United States Forest Service (USFS). Since then, they’ve significantly grown their fleet and incorporated new technologies to meet the changing contracting environment. As award winners of the USFS latest MATOC, Helicopter Express is bringing “modern helicopters”, which includes HUMS as a minimum requirement, to serve communities throughout the United States.

We’re taking those to the next level with Foresight MX. Now, we’ll have remote visibility of the health of our various models of deployed aircraft on one easy-to-use dashboard, even on our phones. This will assist us in planning our maintenance and flight operations, reduce our AOGs, and even help us with recruiting.”
