Anaheim, California February 27, 2024 - Airwolf Aerospace today announced that the company has attained FAA STC approval for the installation of True Blue Power® TB17 Lithium-ion STC kits for the Airbus H125/AS350, AS355, EC-120, H130/EC130, Bell 206A/B, 206L/L1/L3/L4, Enstrom 480B, Hiller UH-12E and MD 369/500 helicopters and the True Blue Power® TB20 battery in H125/AS350, AS355 helicopters.
Operators of these aircraft and other aircraft that use Lithium-ion main ship batteries need a low-cost lithium-ion capable charger. A key feature of the charger is the inclusion of a Quick Connector. This allows ring terminal leads to remain connected to the battery terminals or the ship’s ELCON connector. An ELCON adapter is also supplied to charge the battery with ship power disconnected.
