In a bid to strengthen firefighting capabilities amid looming wildfire threats, Cyprus welcomed two firefighting helicopters along with their 18-member crew.
The deployment aims to bolster the island’s firefighting resources ahead of the impending fire season.
Having arrived in Paphos a week ago, the helicopters and crew underwent rigorous preparation and familiarization exercises.
