With wildfires burning in Eastern Carolina, you may have seen some helicopters helping to put out the flames, but it’s more complicated than just dropping water on the fires.
Fighting wildfires is a difficult task that’s handled both on the ground and in the sky with resources like a helicopter.
ENC is in wildfire season. Fires are popping up throughout the region, and officials with the U.S. Forest Service say these fires are fought with a variety of resources.
