Chico Air Attack Base Helps Fight Red Bank Fire

CHICO, Calif. — Cal Fire crews at the Chico Air Attack Base sent plane after plane to help fight the Red Bank Fire, Thursday afternoon.

For them the trip was 80 miles from Chico to Tehama County and back, which they completed in less than an hour. The crews carried thousands of gallons of fire retardant in their cargo holds.
