COLORADO SPRINGS — A fire on the northwest side of Colorado Springs that broke out early Wednesday morning is still not contained. As of this morning, you can see a faint glow of the small fire still on the peak.
There’s already a type 3 helicopter on scene doing bucket drops this morning. The decision was made to keep a hand crew out of the area for safety today. The winds are expected to pick up this afternoon.
